Yes, so basically what I did was to have some c++ code/application generate PBRT files for each frame, with the content of the simulation (box and cell density). After that I used PBRT to add lighting and render the particles, to generate a PNG for each frame.
At last I used VirtualDub to generate a video from the set of PNG&#039;s.
